Palermo Recorders Instrumental Music

Canada

Palermo Recorders is an independent recording house dedicated to timeless sound, where classic songwriting instincts meet a modern production process to create fully finished, polished music across genres and moods. Founded and run by producer Michael Baim, Palermo Recorders is the studio behind projects like The Hollywood Sessions, a 1970s Laurel Canyon-inspired acoustic instrumental collection — along with a growing catalog spanning rock, chill, ambient, jazz, country, and more. At Palermo Recorders, original ideas and lyrical subject matter are shaped into hybrid material — Michael's decades of songwriting and production experience blended with new tools and techniques to bring each track to a finished, radio-ready master. That craft is rooted in a career that started in the nightclubs of Vancouver in 1981 with the band Frenzy, playing six nights a week through 1993 — over 50,000 hours on stage as a working performer. Since then, Michael's work as an independent singer-songwriter and producer has grown into a catalog of 3,000+ original songs, giving Palermo Recorders a deep well of storytelling, melody, and studio experience to draw from. Here you'll find new releases, curated listening experiences, and behind-the-scenes insight into how Palermo Recorders brings each project, from full songs to instrumental sessions, from idea to finished master. 🎙️ Palermo Recorders, where songs get made. 🔔 Subscribe for new releases and sessions across every genre.
