Wavmark is operated by Pac Sun Group ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use wavmark.io and related services (the "Platform").

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed securely through Stripe). If you are a Creator, we also collect your payout details.

Content and metadata: When you upload music, we collect the audio files and associated metadata including track title, artist name, genre, tags, and provenance information (such as whether AI tools were used in creation).

Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, search queries, tracks played, and device/browser information.

Communications: If you contact us, we retain the content of your messages and our responses.

3. How We Use Your Information

• •To process transactions and send related information (receipts, payouts, licensing confirmations)
• •To distribute your music to third-party streaming platforms when you opt in
• •To display provenance metadata to Buyers as part of the licensing process

• •To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
• •To comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

• •Third-party streaming platforms: When you opt into distribution, we share your content and associated metadata with platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others
• •Payment processors: We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles your financial data under their own privacy policy
• •Buyers: When a Buyer licenses your track, they receive your artist name and track metadata. We do not share your email, real name, or payment details with Buyers
• •Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request
• •Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers using Supabase and Cloudflare R2. Audio files are stored in Cloudflare R2 with encryption at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

7. Cookies and Analytics

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. Content metadata associated with completed license transactions may be retained for record-keeping purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

Wavmark is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn we have collected data from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). Contact us at contact@pacsungroup.com to exercise these rights.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
